Employer Paid Long Term Disability (LTD) provides income to an employee who suffers a long-term disability related absence as well as a commitment to work with the employer to explore return-to-work strategies and retraining opportunities.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Benefit
  • Percentage Options: 50%, 60%, 66 2/3%, 70%
  • Elimination Periods: 60 days, 90 days, 180 days
  • Benefit Durations: 2 years, 5 years, to age 65 compliant with Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and Social Security Normal Retirement Age (SSNRA)
  • Survivor Benefits: 3 months, 1 year, 2 years
  • Mental Nervous/Drug and Alcohol: 24 months
  • Return to Work Features: Work Incentive Benefits/Rehabilitative Incentive Income
